Public Education and Information in Support of Economic Reforms-Phase III

USAID 1995-1997

OSC developed and implemented a Legal Reform public education campaign, which included commercial and general business law, trade and investment law, bankruptcy law, as well as training for judges and lawyers. All advertisements were designed by OSC and press releases were disseminated through regional OSC offices and a network of media representatives in conjunction with the Kazakhstan Press Club.

 

Privatization Public Information Campaign

USAID-World Bank 1993-1994

OSC led a public information campaign in support of Kazakhstan's privatization program. OSC provided support for capital market reform, commercial law reform, small-and mass-scale privatization, and voucher auctions. OSC prepared training materials such as public education manuals, a training film, and seminars for the Kazakhstan Republican and Territorial State Property Committee.
