Georgia Enterprise Growth Initiative As a subcontractor to Bearing Point, OSC managed and developed communications strategies in support of a wide range of enterprise growth initiatives including the Credit Information Bureau, Secured Lending Filing Office, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Revenue Enhancement, and New Tax Code and Amnesty Law. OSC has developed and organized media training for Business Associations to build their capacity to deliver clear information to the public. OSC trained 25 business executives in Public Relations Strategies and Preparation of Media Plans. The training method used was participatory, involving interactive training followed by practical sessions. Working in different groups, the participants had a chance to acquire practical skills such as preparing a draft of a PR and Media plan, writing a press release, and practicing teamwork. Public Education in Support of TB Treatment and
Prevention On a USAID grant, as a subgrantee to Medical Services Corporation International, OSC provided key public education support, including focus group and quantitative research to the Tuberculosis Treatment and Control Project in Tbilisi, Georgia.
OSC developed and managed an integrated public education program in support of economic reform in Georgia. The program directed and coordinated public education for small and medium enterprise development, land reform, accounting reform, agricultural reform, capital markets development, tax and fiscal reform, banking supervision and privatization. Public Education in Support of Privatization In Georgia, OSC implemented a privatization/public education strategy in support of voucher distribution and voucher auctions. Based on a research program created by OSC to identify the understanding and perceptions of privatization among the public and major stakeholders in the economy, OSC developed and implemented a public information program in support of mass privatization. The project undertaken by OSC included the design, production and dissemination of advertising and collateral materials as well as the launch of a public relations and information center to communicate the government's economic reform policies in an organized, systematic manner to the Georgian public. |
