Public Information in Support of Privatization
1994
In Uzbekistan, OSC managed a privatization public education project in support of cash auctions.
OSC built coalitions between the State Property Fund of Uzbekistan and journalists to address the challenge of distributing information regarding cash auctions.
To ensure the accurate dissemination of this information, OSC provided educational seminars for journalists and collaborated with state and local agencies to produce videos, informational brochures, posters and public signs in support of Uzbekistan's cash auctions.
