OSC is developing and will disseminate messaging related to agriculture, nutrition, and nutrition-sensitive agriculture to assist smallholder farmers to increase, diversify, and add value to their agriculture production. OSC’s strategic communications campaign will combine fundamental communications approaches with the use of socially and economically appropriate information and communications technology (ICT) to facilitate productive dialogue for a host of actors, including average citizens, youth, civil society organizations, and government officials. OSC’s expertise in research-based social and behavior change communications (SBCC) will inform the development of messages related to nutrition and agriculture that promote healthy behaviors and encourage community-level involvement. OSC will work with local partners to utilize appropriate channels for message dissemination, including earned media, radio programming, and mobile phone messaging.
